I always struggle with eating healthy when I’m at my parents house. I even brought some healthy foods along with me this trip but last night I still succumbed to the thin mint girl scout cookies in the freezer. They were there staring at me…taunting me. And before I knew it, I had eaten FOUR of them! Eek!
2 slices oatmeal bread
Walked briskly on the treadmill for 50 minutes.
sauteed portabella mushrooms with steak sauce between 2 slices oatmeal bread (I really didn’t want more bread and looked for something else but my parents pantry and fridge is pretty low on everything right now)
a large slice of pumpkin cake (vanilla cake mix + one can of pumpkin = delicious and totally vegan treat)
oat bran sesame sticks
Mexican night…whole wheat tortilla with sauteed onions and peppers with refried beans and black beans and fresh salsa with some blue corn chips
Fruit for dessert
